The encyclical "All brothers", signed by Pope Francis on October 3, 2020, is a strong call for brotherhood in the highest sense of the word.

"St. Francis, who felt himself the brother of the sun, the sea, and the wind", the Holy Father writes, "knew that he was even more united with those who have the same flesh. He sowed peace everywhere and was close to the poor, the abandoned, the sick, the rejected, the smallest. Saint Francis of Assisi, according to the Pope, explained "the essence of open brotherhood, which allows us to recognize, appreciate and love every person, regardless of physical distance, or place in the world where he was born or where he lives."

At the webinar, we will discuss the theme of Pope Francis' Encyclical, in particular the theme of brotherhood. We will also talk about the role of the Church in the development of the common good and the concern for holistic human development.
